Janina, Lead Trainer YTT, RYT200, Prenatal & Trauma Yoga Certified
Over ten years ago, Janina turned to practice yoga as a way to relax and have some downtime from looking after her two very active young children. Just one downward-facing dog posture (asana), she was captivated by the calmness and inner peace she found in herself. After that first yoga class, she realized teaching of yoga was her calling in life. One of her favourite aspect of practicing yoga is the amazing transformation and healing that take place both physically and emotionally. An emphasis on listening to your body, respecting your limits, without judgement and meeting personal expectations is a common thread throughout her class. The main focus of her teaching is the breath, proper alignment, and honouring the body. She believes that the power of kindness is indispensable for the well being of everyone. Janina suffers from Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Janina completed in April 2018 Pain and The Stretch Reflex with Nicole Ablack-Ramkay (Toronto) and in the fall 2016, the 20 hrs Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training: Healing your Heroes by Healing Heroes Project in Oakville, Canada. Andrea, RYT200, Reiki I & II
Hi, I’m Andrea! I’m a mom to two young kids and our family lives a healthy life through clean eating and outdoor living. I was introduced to yoga several years ago when I was doing a lot of long-distance running to help me stretch and strengthen with the goal of preventing injuries. Health and wellness have always been an important part of my life and I quickly saw the benefits of regular yoga practice. I decided to take my Yoga Teacher Training to deepen my practice and take it to the classroom, as I have been an elementary school teacher for over 15 years and teaching is a real passion of mine. I completed my Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour training (RYT200) with Life Yoga Studio and am registered with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a Reiki Level 2 practitioner so am able to offer energy healing alongside my yoga classes. I look forward to sharing my learnings within the wellness space.

After five years as a corporate accountant, Nav made the decision to transition careers and pursue teaching Yoga and Meditation full-time to help others discover a greater sense of meaning, fulfillment and purpose. . As a teacher, Nav aims to create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment to guide students towards regaining inner peace and recovering their sense of well-being by demonstrating effective and practical physical movements, breathing exercises and meditation techniques . As a Yogi, he believes in his ability to show others a realistic path of how to best adapt and integrate the system of yoga into daily life to better manage everyday stress and strain, find balance, and to reconnect individuals to their deeper selves in a world which so easily disconnects them from who they are . Outside of the Yoga studio, Nav is an active member of the MMA and Combat Sports community as a coach, trainer and athlete. Nav is a father to one cat, Cookie, and enjoys cycling, spending time in nature, attending concerts, and drawing in his free time.
